Athletes can be divided into two groups.
– Active
The former are really into sports, often more than one. Or at least different physical activities are important to them. From brisk walking, to running, to swimming. In childhood they attended sports clubs, played sports with their parents and were guided and active lifestyle. This gets into the blood and under the skin and stays with them throughout their lives.
– Passive
They watch sports matches and broadcasts mainly at home from the couch, or at best go to the stadium to cheer. They usually know everything better than the athletes themselves and are very happy to criticise poor performances. But we cannot lump everyone together. Without fans, professional sport would almost be meaningless.
If you\’re all about getting in shape, it\’s best to go to the experts and get advice from a fitness trainer who can give you exercises specifically for your physique. After all, we all have different problem areas that need extra attention.
If you want to keep fit, improve your breathing, strengthen your heart or maintain a slim figure, take up aerobic sports such as swimming, running or cycling. Even a brisk walk somewhere in the countryside, in the woods, will do.
And if you want to have fun and don\’t care so much about real movement, but want to experience adrenaline and thrills, try fantasy sports . Computer and network sports games have come a long way in recent years and you can invest even more in them than in real sports. If you get special equipment like goggles, a steering wheel chair and more, you\’ll be able to get into the game even more and enjoy it even more. Not just you, but your friends too. You can organize little sports parties at home. Unlike real sports, you can even sin when it comes to alcohol and food.
